San Gimignano

After napping most of the morning away, we went out to explore our little town. This is the kind of town we want to live in. Old buildings, inner courtyards, terra cotta tiled roofs, cobble stone streets - it all makes for a grand atmosphere. Oh - and DELICIOUS restaurants.
The fall is a great time to visit. There aren't a lot of tourists around. Course, places aren't open as late, and some places aren't open at all. But hey, it's better to really experience a few things rather than wearing yourself out with all the things, right?
