We actually had several incredible meals. Our several course dinners, with wine, were running about $35. With tip. That's pretty impressive. And they were very gourmet, too. Venison with spiced apples - yummy stuff. Very meat and potatoes-ish, though. We tried to go to several markets. We couldn't find one of them and the second one was a long subway and then bus ride away. We spent all our cash. Got ripped off again, too. But what did we know - it was cheap for American thrift stuff. I tell you, Hungary should embrace tourism - no one is used to their prices.
