A
lot of people keep on asking us where we're registered. Unfortunately,
being the non-traditional people that we are, we haven't registered
anywhere. However, now that we're surrounded by people with kids, we've
realized that it's much easier if people just tell us what they want
rather than having to guess. So, to that end, here is an ongoing list
of gift ideas for Zia.

IDEAS FOR ZIA: |
First
and foremost - we love homemade gifts or any items that were a particular
favorite of yours or your children's. We
also have a lot of used items - secondhand or hand-me-downs are great!
- COLLEGE FUND: I can't
figure out how to set up an automatic deposit to Zia's college fund
unless you're signed into the account. But, we're always looking for
additions to that small pot, so if you'd prefer to gift Zia's future
education, just add a note... "this is for Zia's college fund."
- TOYS: Any great toys that
were found by personal experience are probably sure-fire winners.
However, it does seem that even with all her toys, Zia prefers things
like the telephone or an orange or the garden trowel. But here are
some ideas...
- Hand puppets - the kind where you can open and close the mouth
- Refrigerator Alphabet magnets
- Radio Flyer Wagon - My First Wagon or the All-terrain Cargo
Wagon
- Rocking horse (for a toddler)
- Baby doll that teaches you how to dress
- Fisher
Price Little People
(we have: Bus, Train, Helicopter, Tractor)
- Soft bowling ball set
- LikeABike
($279)
- Training Potty
- I Can Fly Mini Kids’ Tote Bags available at: www.allkidscanfly.com
- CLOTHES: Zia wears her
age at the moment, but thinking ahead is always good. We're jam-packed
full of summer clothes, so fall/winter for size 18-24 months (is that
a size?) or 2T are the next things we need. We could use some more
short-sleeve/shorts pajama sets. We prefer bright colors rather than
pastel. She's a bit of a tomboy already.
