Ceremony and other Wedding Traditions
We're standing underneath the chuppah. In many cases, the chuppah is free-standing, but we made ours so that it was transportable. We didn't exactly know how the ceremony was going to work until the day of the wedding. It worked well, though. Our close friends and family were directly surrounding us and then on a larger, outside circle, all of the rest of our friends and family witnessed our union. Mom Kinzy likes to say that the chuppah was the most universal chuppah ever made. We had people of all different religions working on it!
