Pre-Wedding Preparations

Andee and Mom getting ready to make the first cuts into the fabric for the wedding dress. The fabric is actually for curtains. It had a length of about 3 yards, so I only ended up getting 2 1/2 yards of fabric for the dress. Good thing. It was expensive. Beautiful, but expensive. Also, we were working from several different patterns that we combined. I had an idea and drawings, but no complete pattern. We had to mix and match. Thank goodness for Mom (& dad)! I went to Texas for a week and all we did was work on the dress. (And get some kittens for Mom and Dad.)
