Venice
We arrived in Venezia later in the evening. The train ride out there feels like you're going to an entirely separate continent. There's one road leading out to the island. I guess it's similar to Manhattan in that sense, but Venezia has ONE road - Manhattan has MANY bridges. We had to catch the vaporetti (which Michael doesn't like) to get to our hotel. We got a little, old man to take our picture for us. He couldn't quite figure out how to use the camera. He was making all these sounds while trying to find the eye viewer. Hee, hee.
The vaporetti ride was kind of long and slow and it was dripping rain the whole time, but I love looking at the facades of the buildings on the waterfront. They're so incredibly beautiful.
