Lanzarote
There are no real highways or "normal" routes to follow. Every now and then, you see a road sign that points in the direction of a "big" town. If your path is in that direction, you steer towards it and eventually run across the town you're looking for. It's really small and pretty hard to get lost. There are a lot of traffic circles. Michael hates traffic circles. Anyway, there suddenly appeared a drastic change in the landscape. It was now full of jagged rock and sharp, angled mountains. We felt like we were driving through large magma flows (dried magma flows, of course).
