Gran Canaria (Again)

An excerpt from my journal:
We're really staying in a hut. Our door has flaked away green paint all over it, and it's a thatched roof - bamboo. Kind of angles down. It's actually quite quaint. And the best view we've had. Fataga is very scenic, as is San Bartolome. Houses set into the mountains. Last night I tried rabbit. I might have enjoyed it, except Michael kept on saying, "Poor, little bunny." He had pork chops that were too rare and he ended up sliding pieces under his salad. Our waiter was very nice. We wanted him to think we enjoyed it.
