Gran Canaria (Again)

The hydrofoil was a short trip. We got back to Gran Canaria and rented a car and then headed down the island. We stopped to check out the Dunas de Maspalomas, but they were only mildly interesting. The beach was really crowded and it was cold and the sand was blowing all over the place. We ditched the place and headed off into the center of the island to look for our Casa Rurales. Gran Canaria isn't very green - we went into an area that looked like the Grand Canyon or an Asian painting.
