Firenze

This is our FAST train to Padua. Michael paid extra and we went first class. We got free chocolates and water. Padua was well worth the stop. We got there at 5:01pm and made it to the Arena Chapel by 5:15pm. Michael got to bask in the art of Giotto for a good 45 minutes. It was really amazing. The story of Christ around an entire, little chapel. The Kiss of Betrayal by Judas was quite moving. Jesus was staring at Judas with an expression of, "Do you realize what you're doing?"
That was it. The whole reason we stopped in Padua. We walked leisurely back to the train station and caught the next one to Venezia. We were lucky that it worked so well. :)
