We immediately got shafted by the taxi cab driver. It was really late when we arrived, and even though Herman warned us, we took a gypsy driver. He charged us a lot of money - the equivalent of $20, when it should have been around $5 or $6. But we had no idea about the exchange rate or anything. We were a pair of those naive Americans who gets taken advantage over there. Although our hotel was quite nice and beautiful, we were still being over-charged. This is according to the natives!
